4th of July... Actually the 3rd

This year the 4th was quite a celebration around our house.  It started on the 3rd and lasted until the 12th.  Jeff's work had a summer break all of this week so we were able to party all week!  Our celebration started on the 3rd of July with the Murray City parade.  It was pretty exciting taking Klive to his very first parade.  Unfortunately he slept through the entire thing!  Maybe next year he will be able to keep his eyelids open and enjoy.  After the parade we went to a BBQ at Jeff's Mom's house and took Klive swimming for the first time.  It was so fun and he LOVED it!  He was kicking his little legs all over the place and cried when we took him out.  Unfortunately we had to get him out before his diaper exploded all over the place.  We weren't able to find a swim diaper small enough to fit his skinny bum, so we just used a regular diaper.

After we took a dip in the pool we headed to Murray Park for some fireworks.

Klive was so good during the fireworks.  I thought he might be scared, but to my surprise he slept through the entire show.

When we got home and told him about the excitement he missed he made this face!  Just joking, but this picture of him is too cute to leave off the blog and it was taken on the 4th.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
